Altar cloth for Eucharist congress. (posted 13/2/12)
Pupils from the school recently participated in a project to design and create a piece of an altar cloth that will be used to celebrate the Eucharistic congress in the diocese. The winning design was composed from the designs of Nicole Heffernan, Alex Colton, Aaron and Éabha Flanagan.
These pieces will be sewn together with patches from every primary school in the diocese to make an Altar Cloth, 6 meters by 3 meters, for use at the Diocesan Congress, and in Dublin at the international Congress, on the Tuesday, when the Diocese will gather in Dublin.
