  • The green flag is due for renewal this term. The whole school will have to work hard to achieve this goal!
  • Remind all classes about our "lunch in" policy. All lunch should be eaten indoors and all lunch wrappers should be taken home.
  • All children should make an effort to bring re-usable drink bottles , not only would this reduce waste but would be more cost effective for parents.
  • Class teachers will appoint 2 litter busters per month and 2 energy guards also .
  • Each class was assigned an area of the school to monitor for litter and we took pictures of areas of the school that we think need tidying .
  • Action day for litter and waste will take place on the 26 of October 2011 ( To be discussed at next meeting)
  • We will have "recycle and compost week" from the 24-28 October.
